However, our Family's roots are not traced back to Africa; we are traced back to the Mandingo Tribe from the West Indies. This is the original, and the only story I ever heard and read. I would love to see the actual handwritten document.

If you don't have a copy, please request one from a Family Reunion Officer-Robert Gordon or perhaps Sarah Arnett. Hopefully Volume II will be produced in the near future with everyone's help in once again gathering/updating information. We will need information since 1999...births, deaths, etc.
